28 August 2018- For the first time in history, an Indonesian rider goes into the final rounds of show jumping in the Asian Games ever since the first Games took place in India in 1954. After two glorious clear rounds, our rider Ferry Wahyu Hadiyanto managed to get himself on the top of the list by ranking second in the overall results. Now he needs to make sure he stays on that list by riding his best with his horse Faults Free.
Ferry is delighted by his achievement and will fight for a medal to make his country proud. The competition will be very tight and challenging as he will be up against the worlds best riders from countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but Ferry will stop at nothing and do his absolute best. "Yes, I want to present Indonesia with a medal, even if it is a bronze medal,” says Ferry. Riding Dutch warmblood Faults Free from Equinara Horse Sports, he cannot be happier to be at this stage in the competition. “This is all due to my hard work and dedication, despite the fact that many riders did not have clear rounds,”.
Adinda Yuanita, managing director of Equinara Horse Sports is very proud of her rider’s achievement. “I am very happy about the results, because for the first time in history an Indonesian rider has managed to get into the final rounds of the competition. We hope that Ferry can perform his best and that he will have a good coordination with his horse,” Says Adinda.
