We proudly present Countselo, a Premium Hannoverian Stallion, who stole the crowd’s attention when he earned the title in the Stallion Licensing in Verden October 2013. He gained a score of 9 for the free jump from the Licensing Commission. Three outstanding qualities of this stallion are type, ability and manner, which he presented during his 70 days stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2014 where he scored a breeding value of 133 for jumping. He also scored himself three 9’s for character, temperament and constitution. During the 25th Private Stallion Show in Verden (7/2/2015), the Hanoverian Society awarded the Stakkato Prize to Coutselo.
His sire, Canstakko, finished his stallion performance test on a very good second place in jumping where he scored a 10 in loose jumping and 9,5 under the test rider. In 2010, Canstakko won two qualifiers for Bundeschampionate and had three winning foals. Canstakko produced four licensed sons; one of them is Countselo.
The dam's sire of Countselo is the famous Contendro I. Contendro I is one of the best advertisements for the Holsteiner. The exceptionally talented stallion has shown great abilities in dressage but even more so in showjumping. To his offspring he has passed on his strength, scope, suppleness and great balance. By the time he was 14 years old, he was a prize-winning millionaire. Meanwhile, Contendro's offspring have won more than 1.6 million Euros in prizes. At least 86 of his sons were licensed and more than 98 daughters have been awarded a State Premium.
Contendro I has sent around 250 offprings to just the auctions in Verden alone. In 2012, Contendro I was by far the youngest sire among the top 13 of the world's best jumper-makers according to the WBFSH Ranking (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) and he ranked tenth among event sires. These are figures that impressively prove the exceptional status of Contendro I. His offspring also made headlines in 2012, when his son, the Olympic Game participant, Codex One, surpassed the 100,000 Ero prize money benchmark.
Contendro I is licensed for Hanover (also the Jumper Breeding Program), Holstein, Oldenburg, OS, Westphalia, Rhineland, Mecklenburg, all Southern Verbands, France, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland and Hungary.
Countselo comes out of the motherline of Nervanda. This motherline already produced a number of successful mares. Thus, Countselo has the best jumping genes with an excellent type.
